The complainant wrote to the Council after his claims from a motor vehicle accident were dismissed. He took the steps to appeal the decision, however the complainant chose not to sign a draft copy of the order and, as a result, the judge was unable to sign the order which prevented the appeal from going forward. The complainant then wrote to another judge on a number of occasions. A law officer for the Supreme Court informed him that neither the judge nor she was in a position to give him legal advice, and advised him to seek counsel elsewhere
In his letter to the Council, the complainant alleged that the other judge overlooked his complaints about the conduct of staff working under his supervision who had wronged him by not offering legal advice.
As this complaint did not relate to a matter of conduct, the matter was closedBack
